I’m starting this blog to collect the information that can be helpful for myself and also for other developers developing on the top of Ext JS JavaScript Library.
The top level domain of this site (.eu) might infer that this is an European Ext JS branch or representative. Neither of these it true. This is my personal activity and the whole purpose of it is to put together all my extensions, plugins, code snippets, tutorials, know-how and other information that I need on the course of development of one huge and many small projects I’m currently on.
While developing software, the activity I’ve been doing intensively for last 10 years, I found out that many times I’d run into a problem, found a solution and had forgotten both the problem and the solution. Then, after some time, I run into a similar or same one, and I had to repeat the whole painful process of searching and remembering tricks, commands and pitfalls of the solution over and over again. What a waste of time!
Therefore this blog for good of all productive people.
All credits go to Ext JS, its creator Jack Slocum and all members of Ext Team that have created and they are being creating the new world of web applications we could only dream about a couple of years ago.
